Kap Misir (born October 18, 1981 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American lawyer who practices law in New York and New Jersey. He currently owns the law firm Misir & Associates in Queens, New York. Early Life Misir grew up in Bowie, MD and graduated from Bowie High School in 1999. He then went on to graduate from St. John's University (Jamaica, New York) in 2003 with a B.S. in Legal Studies and then attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan where he received his J.D. in 2007. Legal Practice After law school Misir served as a law clerk for Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter for the U.S. Senate on the Judiciary in Washington, D.C. In 2008, Misir opened the law firm Misir & Associates in Queens, New York where the firm handles personal injury, medical malpractice and criminal defense work.
