Adam Jeffrey Tomei (born October 24, 1967) is an American film and television actor who is the younger brother of Oscar winning actress Marisa Tomei. He is best known for his roles in the films as Swing, Meet Dave, and The Banger Sisters. Early life Tomei, an Italian American, was born in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Patricia "Addie," an English teacher, and Gary A. Tomei, a trial lawyer. His older sister, actress Marisa Tomei, and was partly raised by his paternal grandparents, Rita and Romeo Tomei. Tomei grew up in the Midwood neighborhood of Brooklyn. He graduated from Edward R. Murrow High School. |
