K-1 World MAX 2002 Preliminary Brazil was a kickboxing event promoted by the K-1 organization. It was a qualifying tournament for the K-1 World MAX 2003 Final, and involved eight fighters, all of whom were based in Brazil, with all matches fought under K-1 Rules (70 kg/152 lb weight class). The tournament champion was Marfio Canoletti who defeated Zelly Ferreira in the final by third round decision. The event was held at the São Paulo Infinity Club, in São Paulo, Brazil, on Thursday 1 October 2002.
