Johan Yuri Yampolski

Johan Yuri Yampolski (born 13 February 1967, ) is a fairly unknown Polish composer of contemporary classical music.
Biography
Yampolski began composing at the age of seven and was the only one in his family pursuing a career in music.
He is known to be particularly fond of the lower register, and is famous for his compositions involving multiple violoncelli within in a chamber ensemble. His compositions typically allow the performers a certain degree of freedom to improvise around a given note or atmosphere. He is also noted for his attention to detail and his scores often request the performers to wear certain attire, or request for the cello spike to be made of a certain material (carbon fibre, wood or metal).
He is considered a fairly radical composer.
