Kartiki Kalyanji Gaikwad (, Born 1997) is the winner of the Marathi competitive music reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs aired on Zee Marathi channel during July 2008-February 2009. Background Kartiki was born in Pune to "Varkari Sampraday" family. Her father Kalyanji Gaikwad who teaches her Classical music, is a music composer, mainly composing 'Bhajan','Kirtan', 'Gan-Gavalan' (Marathi traditional, cultural & spiritual songs / poem) & similar devotional songs. Career Idea Sa Re Ga Ma Little Champs Kartiki auditioned for the Idea Sa Re Ga Ma Little Champs competitive music reality show organized by the Zee Marathi television channel in 2008. She has been shortlisted in final 50 amongst several thousand children aged between 8 to 14 years. In the pre-semifinal round, she was out of the competition because of poor mobile SMS score, in spite of good singing score. She has been called in competition in call back round & with throughout strong performance she reached to final 5. She won the competition at the end, in February 2009.
