| Kayvon Zand is an Iranian-American industrial-pop performer Early years
 Zand grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina. By the age of 6, he began composing music with self-taught skills in playing piano and violin.
 He moved to London for a few years, after which he returned to the United States, and settled in New York City.  often performing too.
 In July 2010, he  released a song entitled “So Gone,” followed by his first  official music video. Later that month, he was banned from the Highline Ballroom following a controversial performance involving his back-up performers.
 Zand also made an appearance in RuPaul's 2007 film Starrbooty
