) Early life Nikos Tatasopoulos was born in the United States. He began playing bouzouki and performing on stage with his father, the soloist and composer, Giannis Tatasopoulos at the age of 3. They performed in Washington DC and New York City. His studies included classical piano with Saul Roas and jazz guitar alongside Spiros Antonellos. His performances continued nationwide in the USA with his father until he was 19. In 1992, he relocated to Greece where he now lives.<ref name=monopoli/> Career He continued his career in Athens, Greece, performing mostly Greek Music (rebetiko, Modern Laika, Laïka, Blues, General Music of Greece, and instrumental ethnic music). He performed in various TV and radio shows promoting Rebetiko music. ERT, ANTENNA, Skai TV, ERT RADIO. During his career he has worked with many famous Greek singers and musicians. |
