Jim Emery (June 24, 1976) is an English journalist and author, most famous for his interviews with Miles Hunt and Jill Furmanovsky. His style is reminiscent of Hunter S Thompson, and his style of writing has gained him a loyal almost cult like following. Concentrating on the periphery of the music scene, his interests are people who have faded from the spotlight or those industry persons who don't immediately spring to mind; photographers, artists, agents and session players for example. He was taught by the renowned journalist and author Gavin Evans. He is currently working on a feature of Pink Floyd artist Storm Thorgerson. He lives with his wife in Earlsfield, South London.
