Jessica Brentnall

Jessica Brentnall is filmmaker and film producer from Australia. Brentnall is the manager of the production company, Magic Films.
Work
Brentnall started her career working at Vogue Australia Later, she worked for Louis Vuitton in public relations and continued her stills production for the fashion industry in a freelance capacity. Brentnall was the creative director on the project.
Brentnall developed a compilation of Australian short films, PULSE (2007) which was screened in Sydney and at Paramount Studios for Australia Week. The Cat Piano was also nominated for the best animated short for the American Academy Awards.
She is known for producing Sleeping Beauty (2011) which was shown at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. Brentnall was called a "brave tenacious producer" by the director of Sleeping Beauty, Julia Leigh.<ref name=":0" /> Leigh had been turned down by several other producers before Brentnall came into the project.<ref name=":0" />
