Jeremis Smith

Jeremis Stephon Smith (born May 14, 1986) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for Ironi Ramat Gan of the Liga Leumit.
High school and college career
Smith was one of the leading high school players in Texas with more than 3,000 points in his prep career. He won numerous honors both from the school and state. He represented Team USA in the Global Games in Dallas, Texas. In addition, Smith helped his high school in Fort Worth to a 101-6 record in his last three years. Smith then competed for Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men's basketball team from 2004 to 2008.
Professional career
Between 2009 and 2014, Smith played for numerous teams in Central and South America. He also had a short stint in Israel with Maccabi Haifa during the 2011-12 season.
On July 28, 2014, Smith signed with Maccabi Rishon LeZion for the 2014-15 season, returning to Israel for a second stint. In 39 games for Maccabi, he averaged 9.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals per game.
On August 14, 2015, Smith signed with Hapoel Holon for the 2015-16 season, returning to Israel for a third stint.
