James Guidice

James Thomas Guidice II, ( who uses the professional stage name James Dicarlo ), is an American born actor and musician from Brooklyn N.Y.
The only son, his father James Sr. and mother Carla, James began his acting career in school performances at the age of 8. Always having an interest in performing arts, he was accepted to Edward R. Murrow high school for their music program in 1998. Attending the high school in his junior year, it was brought to James' attention by his drama coach that an open casting call was listed in the Backstage newspaper, for a teenage boy to portray actor Jason Alexander's son in the 2001 ABC sitcom "Bob Patterson". Agreed to attend the call, James auditioned in NYC in July 2001, among thousands of seasoned actors. After being called back in for two separate screen tests at ABC Studios in New York, James was asked to fly into Los Angeles, for a final audition for ABC executives and the shows writers, including Jason Alexander himself.
The final audition was between two actors, James Dicarlo and Jake Hoffman, son of actor Dustin Hoffman.
After the final audition, James was awarded the role by Alexander, who broke the news to him by simply saying " your whole life is about to change". Dicarlo received press coverage by " TV Guide", New York Daily News, The New York Post, and interviewed for the cover for the Arts section of the New York Times, by then journalist Bernard Weinraub, in a interviewed titled " Bensonhurst to Hollywood In One Leap For Actor, 17 " ( Published Sept. 5th, 2001 )
The show received negative reviews, and was cancelled after 5 episodes, concluding at the end of October, 2001.
Dicarlo, who relocated back to the New York after the shows conclusion, graduated High School in 2002, and continued his Education at Brooklyn College, pursuing his Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts.
Since his debut as a professional actor, he has been a part of programs on networks such as FX, ABC, NBC, Biography, and Investigation Discovery.
A musician as well, Dicarlo has been involved with numerous heavy rock groups, on the underground scene in New York City, playing rooms such as Irving Plaza, Highline Ballroom, and the former Crash Mansion.
Currently, Dicarlo resides in NYC, and continues his pursuit for success in dramatic arts. He is represented by Actress Terrie Snell and Arthur Massei , managers for the Bi - Costal
talent group, Talent Ink. Talent Ink currently has offices in New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Dicarlo signed a three year deal with the Company in July 2012.
