Invasion of the Reptoids is a 2011 American sci-fi/horror film written & directed by Ted Moehring.
Synopsis
Alien invader Reptoid (Dave Getzoff) crash lands his spaceship near a small rural town and terrorizes the countryside. When the Reptoid kills a teenager (Joseph Michael), his girlfriend Rose (Leeann Fassbender) is unable to convince local sheriff (George Stover) that something is amiss.

Production
The film is, according to its director Ted Moehring, "chiefly a homage to the classic Sci Fi/Monster movies from the 1950s and filled with references to many of them". "It is also inspired by some of the Reptoid conspiracy theories". These aliens don't have the giant CGI spaceships and advanced technology but they have rayguns and are freaking ugly!
The movie was shot on location in Pennsylvania and West Virginia . It features actor Conrad Brooks who came to fame by appearing in many Ed Wood, Jr. movies including Plan 9 From Outer Space which is considered one of the worst films of all time!
Sound Track
The "Invasion of the Reptoids Motion Picture Soundtrack" was released in 2012 by the Spine Punch Music label. The soundtrack features music by The Piss Shivers, King Kobras and Cedric Crouch (who also played Officer Adamson in the movie).
