Idea Rebel is a Canadian privately held company, in the business of digital marketing. They develop web and mobile content and apps. The company's headquarters is in Gastown, Vancouver with a second office in Toronto, Ontario.

History
Idea Rebel was founded in 2008 in Vancouver by Jamie Garratt (current acting CEO). They have 40 employees worldwide. Idea Rebel clients include Yokohama, Quiksilver, BMW, Bell Media, and FOX.
In July 2012, Idea Rebel opened an office in Toronto - shortly after, a third office in Santa Monica was opened.
Paperless office
Idea Rebel is a completely paperless company, using technology and other digital solutions to uphold this objective. Pay stubs are sent via email, notes are taken on tablets, and whiteboards are used daily. Idea Rebel believes that using paper in the office would be contradictory to the values of the company.

BMW i3 Become Electric
Idea Rebel and Tool of North America collaborated on an app called Become Electric that puts the user in the drivers seat of BMW's electric car.
The app was developed using a video filmed with a 360° camera, creating an immersive 3D world in which the device is a user's window into a panoramic movie. The user drives the action, while interacting with the car’s features, and discovering more about the innovative new BMW i3 Range.
Yokohama
Idea Rebel developed web content for tire manufacturer Yokohama. A custom WordPress build, the multilingual site features a tire selector tool, product cataloger, dealer locator, technology and design resources and a motor sports section highlighting Yokohama's links to racing.
