History
In 1998, iCrossing began in Scottsdale, Arizona with 35 employees, and quickly developed a client base including some Fortune 500 companies. iCrossing's first proprietary tool, Interest2Action, was developed in support of natural search and paid search analytics. By 2004, offices had also been established in New York City and San Francisco, and iCrossing employed over 100 people. iCrossing entered into the mobile search field in 2005, and also opened a fourth office in Chicago. In 2006, iCrossing opened offices in Atlanta and Dallas, and acquired NewGate Internet, which had been a leader in Paid Search. In 2007, iCrossing acquired both the U.K. search marketing firm Spannerworks and the Salt Lake City based Sharp Analytics. With the Sharp Analytics acquisition came Sharpview, a proprietary marketing dashboard tool. iCrossing also acquired the web development company Proxicom and opened another office in London. By mid-2007 iCrossing had grown to over 550 employees with more than 40 Fortune 500 clients.
