According to OHL Central Scouting (April 2017), "Graeme is a goal scorer. He possesses one of the better shots in this year’s class. It is very accurate, has pace and
he seems to be able to get it off from anywhere and at any time on the ice. He is a very good skater when at full stride and should improve as he gets stronger. He is very creative with the puck and has good offensive instincts as the puck always seems to find him on the ice. He is a smart offensive player that doesn’t put himself in bad positions." His video Draft Profile is available here.
Michigan/Lacrosse Style Goals
During competition, Graeme has scored many times by picking up the puck on his stick while behind the net and then scoring a wrap-around style goal in the top corner of the net. Some examples are here, here, here, here and here.
Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
After being drafted by the Ottawa 67's on April 8, 2017, Ottawa 67's Head Coach and General Manager Jeff Brown stated “Graeme was the best pure goal scorer in the draft. We’re extremely excited to draft a player of this caliber and him being a local player is an added bonus.”
Graeme is currently expected to make his OHL regular season debut for the Ottawa 67's on September 21, 2017 against the Barrie Colts in Barrie, Ontario, Canada.
