Gotlieb Bieri

Gottlieb Bieri and his wife Marie Bieri decided they wanted to help others like his parents, Helen and Gottlieb Sr. Bieri who had met at the Flint School for the Deaf in the early 1900s. Gottlieb was inspired to seek out technology that would help not only his parents, but others to enjoy life to its fullest and give them the ability to interact easier with family, socially and occupationally. Gottlieb founded Bieri Hearing Specialists in 1952 and helped people hear to the best of his ability with the technology available at the time until his death in 1986. His wife, Marie Bieri continued Gottlieb's work until 2012 at age 92.
Gottlieb and Marie Bieri’s daughter, Cathy Bieri Ryan, Au.D./Doctor of Audiology continues their legacy as President of Bieri Hearing Specialists. It is her goal that everyone with a hearing impairment receives care from a knowledgeable and caring staff so that they may live a better life.
Gottlieb has much to be proud of because his family has continued to keep his passion alive by continuing to follow in his belief that everyone deserves to enjoy the gift of hearing. Continuing in the family tradition Cathy’s son, Shaun Ryan, received his Hearing Aid Salespersons license in February 2012 from the State of Michigan.
