Emmanuel Bible Camp

Emmanuel Bible Camp (1994-present) is summer Bible Camp for children who are going into the 4th grade. It was founded in 1944 by the late Carl Wahlstedt. The camp is ran by the Emmanuel Bible Camp fellowship and the Martin/Wahlstedt family. They provide 4 Bible courses and an advanced course. And they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. They have two different camp dates, they have 4-5 weeks of regular camp for grade 4 and up. Then they have one week of teen camp for middle school and up. Camp lasts 5 days Monday-Saturday.
Camp Founder History
Carl Wahlstedt was born in 1910, in the state of Connecticut, where he was raised by his parents and became a preacher. He was married to Wilma Walhstedt in Aug 13, 1942 and together they raised 5 kids (4 girls and one son). They moved to Kentucky in 1943. A year later they built Emmanuel Bible Camp.
