Gee Jay is the artistic name of “Gloria Johnson” (born 12th of August 1989) is a Singer from Nigeria. She was the first Nigerian female singer to cover P-Square after the immediate release of their hit song Bank Alert, Gee Jay’s version went viral on social medias Facebook YouTube national radio stations subsequently also received positive reviews from notable art critics via newspapers and Nigeria entertainment platforms like NotJustOk were her gospel version of “Bank alert” reached 25,000 download in one day and the freestyle video was uploaded ontoYouTube Instagram where one of the duo “P-Square” heard their version in gospel and later honoured Gee Jay by featuring her on her Bank Alert gospel version. She is popularly known for best Nigeria music covers in her Copycat remix viral versions
Biography
Gee Jay was born in "Apana" in Edo State Etsako west local government area,and grew up in Minna Niger State in Nigeria, to the family of "Mr Johnson Alemoh" and" Mrs Maria Johnson". She completed her primary and secondary education in Minna Niger State. after her secondary school, she proceeded into hair styling professionally in the city of Abuja . In 2010 she started pursuing her music career with the help a Nigerian multitalented singer "Adebayo Adebisi" popularly known as "TTY NONI" she released her first single titled "Dab for me" which received positive reviews and became the best new single of the year. In 2016. Gee Jay did a collaboration with the popular duo P-Square on a song titled "bank alert gospel". Gee Jay made a video of herself, freestyling on the main Bank Alert beat which went viral, "Paul Okoye" of P-Square saw it and liked it and released it officially with her on 27th of December 2016 subsequently Gee Jay released other singles titled"sweet mama" and"Hakuna matata (zero worries)
