Akinola Olumuyiwa Oshodi (born February 8 in Benin City) known professionally as AKAYCENTRIC (and formerly as Akay) is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and entrepeneur currently signed to Monkey Media House. He began his career while in secondary school ,graduating from command secondary school Ikeja choir to his church choir before his professional career as a music artiste began in 2010 releasing his debut track ‘‘Addicted’’ (featuring Ice Prince Zarmani). His latest EP After all is currently gaining waves.
He has unreleased tracks with Nomoreloss and a track produced by Wayne Mcneish at the Soul Muzik studios mix and mastered by Tobeatz studio. AKAYCENTRIC has worked with the likes of Tosyn Bucknor, nomoreloss, iceprince zamani, mickey 4, password, suka sounds, e Kelly, ossaii, fiokee, Dr chris, Mrs Smart, Waje, Eddie Lawani amongst other notable personalities.
Personal life
AKAYCENTRIC is the 2nd son and third child of colonel E. O Oshodi and Mrs Adewunmi oshodi. He hails from Epetedo, Lagos Island.

Early Life Education and Career
After his birth, his parents moved to Jaji, Kaduna where he spent most of his childhood He studied Accounting and education at the Lagos State University, Ojoo and he also has a degree in music from ten strings music institute.
He has been involved in some reality shows claiming top positions. He won the first ever reality show he made an appearance in which was organized by the Lagos state television "vybes plus". He has then moved on to having the opportunities to work with so many producers, like Dr. Chris okoro, password, suka sounds, e Kelly and other prominent acts in the industry. He has been in some few other collabos, such as BABA GOD by mickey4, follow me by anogiri and some few others as well.
His first ever official track, titled "addicted" featured chocolate city's own "Iceprince", which received tremendous responses from fans within and oversea, the UK most especially. AKAYCENTRIC has performed at Sisi Oge, FAME, Pomp Awards, Mr and Miss Nigeria International, Miss Tourism Nigeria, Glo Campus Storm 2016, Lagos countdown 2014.
Monkey Media Records deal
After the release of his singles which received relatively positive reviews, he was introduced to Monkey Media House by his manager Amb. Bredan Nsisak. In February 2017, he got signed to Monkey media House under which he recorded his audio and debut video for the song Parachute and his latest audio titled After all He is currently working on a second video for After All.
