Gary Malcolm

Gary Malcolm (born November 24, 1973 in Wigan is a British Liberal Democrat politician. He has a degree in Genetics from Sheffield University.

After earlier political involvement in Preston, Gary moved to London and was elected in May 2002 to represent the Southfield ward of the London Borough of Ealing and was re-elected in May 2006. He is the Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democrat group on the London Borough of Ealing Council and their spokesperson on environmental matters and is a member of the Council, Business and Community Partnerships Scrutiny Panel.

In the 2005 General Election, he contested the constituency of Ealing, Acton and Shepherds Bush for the Liberal Democrats, receiving 25.2% of the votes, up 8.6%.

Outside politics, Gary works as a data analyst.

Gary is also an amateur cricketer, playing for Washington Cricket Club in London and also on their international tours, including one against the Malta national cricket team.
