Kevin Donoghue

Kevin Donoghue (born 1979) is an American politician and a member of the Maine Green Independent Party serving on the City Council in Portland, Maine. He is one of the first two members of the Green Independent Party to ever serve on the Portland City Council and the youngest member to serve in the history of the council. Donoghue was elected to the council in November of 2006 along with fellow green David A.Marshall.
Donoghue who holds a master's degree in community planning and development from the University of Southern Maine's Muskie School of Public Service , also serves on the board of the Munjoy Hill Neighborhood Organization. As a Green Party activist Donoghue Co-Chaired the Portland committee of the Green Independent Party from 2006-2007. Donoghue currently serves as a delegate to the National Committee of the Green Party
