Francesco Bizzarri

Francesco Bizzarri (1942 in Foggia) was an Italian scientist and entomologist.
He was born in the last months of 1942, in a time of devastation for Foggia, which will be bombed after. This period was the darkest of his life, because of his deformities due to Klinefelter's syndrome.
He graduated in Medicine at University of Camerino, where he dedicated his thesis to the zoologist Pietro Rossi, from which it was inspired, then became professor of entomology.
Francesco portrayed numerous new species.
He currently lives in Alberona with his wife Maria De Vivo, and his adopted son Babatunde.
