Jon Gulliver

Jon Gulliver is a retired news director who worked as a news director and reporter for WAGM-TV in Presque Isle, Maine.
Early life
Jon was born in Houlton, Maine. According to his blog, Gulliver first appeared on "The Bozo Show" on WABI-TV when he was five. Gulliver was educated at and graduated from Houlton High School. He later attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle and University of Maine, majoring in Journalism and English.
News career
Gulliver first joined WAGM-TV in December 1990, first working as a news assistant, and eventually became a reporter and morning anchor. He then took 18 months off to work as a media coordinator for the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife in Augusta.
Gulliver eventually quit to continue his news career.
Personal life and current work
Retired fron WAGM-TV since July 2011, Gulliver lives in Presque Isle, Maine with his wife Janice. He now works as a part-time staff writer for both The Star-Herald in Presque Isle, Maine, and for the Aroostook Republican in Caribou, Maine.
