Fraggle Rock: The Movie

Fraggle Rock: The Movie is a planned fantasy musical film (with some adventure and comedy elements) based on the classic Henson television series Fraggle Rock. It is currently in development at The Jim Henson Company and will be distributed by The Weinstein Company. A majority of the information regarding the film can be found on Cory Edwards' blog. The movie is part of an effort by the Jim Henson Company to revive some of their already dormant franchises. The idea of a Fraggle Rock movie was originally conceived by Jim Henson himself. Unlike most film adaptations of television shows, Fraggle Rock: The Movie stays true to the series it is being adapted from. Plot Not much is known about the plot of the film, except that it will involve the five core Fraggles: Gobo, Mokey, Wembley, Boober and Red, traveling into Outer Space (what they call the human world).
