Femi Hollinger-Janzen

Oluwafemi Hollinger-Janzen (born December 14, 1993) is a footballer from Benin who plays as a midfielder for the New England Revolution in Major League Soccer.
Career
Youth
Hollinger-Janzen played high school soccer and basketball at Bethany Christian High School in Goshen, Indiana. He scored a school-record 67 goals in four years as a varsity starter, winning two sectional titles and leading the Bruins to their first-ever state semifinal in 2011. He was named the Indiana Gatorade Player of the Year and Indiana Soccer Coaches Association Player of the Year after his senior season.
College
He played college soccer at from 2012 to 2016. Hollinger-Janzen was part of the Hoosier team that won the , scoring the only goal of a 1-0 semifinal win over Creighton. That season, he was named to the NCAA College Cup all-tournament team and the Big Ten All-Freshman team. The next year, the Hoosiers also won the .
All told, Hollinger-Janzen played in four NCAA tournaments and scored 22 goals at IU. He was named academic all-Big Ten three times and all-Big Ten as a midfielder twice. He was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America all-Midwest region team twice, making the second team in 2014 and the first team in 2015, and earned Big Ten sportsmanship honors in 2015. After his career at Indiana, Hollinger-Janzen was invited to the 2015 MLS Draft Combine.
Professional
On January 19, 2016, the New England Revolution selected Hollinger-Janzen with the 51st pick in the third round of the MLS SuperDraft.
Personal life
A native of Cotonou, Benin, Hollinger-Janzen was adopted by missionaries Rod and Lynda Hollinger-Janzen and moved to Indiana at age 6.
