Fatih Buzgan (born 1982 in Bornova, ) is a Turkish endurance athlete. He holds the Turkey's unofficial day/distance record by mountain bike. The total distance in this record was 350 km in one day. Then introduced with swimming. Got private lessons from swimming instructors for 6 months. After his first swimming competition, started running in Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Athletics Sports Club. By his trainer Orhan Buker (who won USA Gasparilla race in 2000 and died in 2002), Buzgan improved himself in running in a short time. He participated in many different running competitions during his high school years and got medals until he went to college in Istanbul. Since he moved to another city, he had to quit his team and there his cycling life started. Professional By the time passed, he improved himself in cycling and started his Istanbul-Izmir 500k rides. He did all his long rides with a mountain bike, and also broke his country's day/distance record (unofficial) by his amateur mountain bike which was 350 km in one single day. Then started to compete in both national and international mountain bike (XC) races and placed in the first 10 of his country while training a female cyclist.
