EKD (also EnKoDeur-Mixer) is an open-source audio/video post-processing free software. EKD started as a video encoder, but evolved over time to add filters, batch processing, and other more robust post-production operations for files and animated images. EKD is cross-platform, having versions for Windows, OS X, and Linux (though the Windows version has a number of dependencies, including Python and ImageMagick). As per available downloads on the home page, the current version numbers are: OS X 1.4; Linux 2.0; Windows 2011/03/03. EKD have a complete tool to encode AVCHD video recordings into a MPEG4 HD free editables videos to help finals users to edit easily HD video recordings.
