History
During the premiere in the UK London Leister Square, fans who were viewing the live chat session on Love Film responded to the newly created word with instant approval and comments on the hilarity of the word and its sudden popularity. The word meaning/origin was discussed in the chat, Chloe used the word 'faboos' instead of 'fab' to abbreviate 'fabulous' which then eventually got turned to 'faboost'. Although it is not very clear what the word means, it is a very enjoyable word to say, altogether now Faboost (pronounced Fah-boost). This word will remain in the hearts as well as the vocabulary of many of the viewers and hopefully it is the same with the child stars. In reality the word, if continued to be used, is basically a technique in which the stars could connect with their fans on a more intimate level by creating what could be described as an "inside joke".Some people believe that Faboost is a abbreviation for the words Fan Boost because you are giving someone a complement for what the have achieved therefore giving them a personal boost in the case of the interview with Chloe and Kodi we are Faboosting them for answering the questions and for their acting in Let Me In directed by Matt Reeves based on the 2008 Swedish film Let the Right One In, directed by Tomas Alfredson and the novel Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist. People who have heard the word are trying to spread it and make it go Viral so it can be the new in thing. The video of the creation of Faboost and the interview is to be uploaded to Love film's youtube channel and the live chat was original shown at Love Film. As chloe and matt returned to their twitter accounts (where she is on almost every day) they both released several "tweets" concerning the creation of the word. As an effect their "followers" began to retweet and reply becoming well known to the collective 40,000 followers between the two of them. This word is on the rise as a well known term recognizable in all social scenarios.
