Blue Cooper

Jonathan Blue Cooper (born March 27, 1986 in ) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2010. He played college football at Chattanooga.
Early years
Cooper was raised by his father, Johnny Cooper Jr.
As a junior in high school, Cooper earned honorable mention all-state honors. He gained 1,885 yards of total offense in his senior year, and earned All-State honors. He was the MVP of the Georgia-Tennessee All-Star game, returning one of two interceptions 48 yards for a touchdown. He started for the AA basketball power house for two years, lettering for four. Cooper averaged 12.4 points per game, 4 blocks per game, and is on the schools All-Time leader board with eight rebounds per game. Cooper also lettered in tennis while in high school.
College career
Cooper played college football at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. At UT-Chattanooga, he became one of the most prolific receivers in school history. He led the team in receiving his last two seasons and climbed the all-time leaders lists. He finished 2009 ranked 6th in FCS with 7.6 receptions per game. Cooper finished his college career with 152 receptions, racking up 1,790 yards. Cooper averaged almost four catches per game in college and had five career 100-plus yard games. Cooper was 3 for 3 passing in his college career, two of which were touchdowns. Cooper passed Terrell Owens in the UTC record books putting him at fourth on the all-time reception list, fifth in career touchdowns, and eighth in receiving yards.
Professional career
Philadelphia Eagles
Cooper was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent following the 2010 NFL Draft on April 26, 2010. He was waived on July 29 to make room for first-round draft pick Brandon Graham.
Personal
Perhaps Cooper's biggest catch of his college career came after his last collegiate game against The Citadel when he proposed to his girlfriend, Maci Gault, on the field at Finley Stadium. Cooper and Gault were married on June 27, 2010 in South Carolina.
