The 12th Eurovision Young Dancers Competition was supposed to be held in the Théâtre de Beaulieu in Lausanne, Switzerland on February 4, 2007. The European Broadcasting Union had planned several changes for the contest, and the main one was the fact that for the very first time, the Eurovision Young Dancers was going to be held at the same time and together with another competition for young dancers, the Prix de Lausanne, an annual competition that takes place every year since 1973 with dancers from all over the world. However, in the end the Young Dancers competition did not take place (the Prix de Lausanne did) and it was not celebrated again until 2011, when it took place in Oslo, Norway. And in September 2007, another dancing competition promoted by the EBU took place, the Eurovision Dance Contest. Notes and references
