Emmanuel Roker

Emmanuel Roker (born May 1996) is an American football defensive back for the Southern Utah Thunderbirds.
High School career
Roker attended Boyd H. Anderson High School in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida where he played football. He played cornerback on defense, and sometimes lined up at safety. Roker and the Cobras made it to the first round playoffs, and lost to William T. Dwyer High School which put an end to his high school career.
College career
As a true freshman in 2014, Roker came of the bench every game for the Los Angeles Valley College Monarchs, seeing early snaps as a freshman. He recorded 26 total tackles, and 6 pass breakups.
In his sophomore season in 2015, Roker took his team to the Golden State Bowl game where they defeated San Bernardino Valley College, 42-27. Roker started 10 of 11 games, missing one due to a family emergency. He recorded 47 total tackles, with three for a loss, 9 pass breakups, and one quarterback hurry. Roker was then ranked a two-star cornerback by Rivals. He committed to Alabama State University in December 2015 and later decommitted, to gain a late offer from Southern Utah University.
In his junior season in 2016, Roker started 3 games out of 11, missing one game due to injury. He finished the season with 22 total tackles, and 6 pass breakups.
