Eleven Eleven

Eleven Eleven, formerly known as Shibby, are a 4-piece punk rock band from Kent in the United Kingdom. The band's sound follows the standard formula of punk rock but includes an electronic edge incorporated by the use of synth and programming.
History
Between 2005 and 2007 3-piece pop-punk band Shibby featuring Sean Houghton (Vocals/Guitar), Matt Verrell (Vocals/Bass) and Loz Hollett (Drums) achieved moderate success. The height of this being the release of the Blurring the Edges EP, a full 25 date support slot on Elliot Minor's UK tour and a 'Best Live Act' nomination at the Awards.
With the unexpected departure of Matt Verrell in late 2007 Shibby continued with replacement Justin Clark until the bands demise in early 2008. Due to University commitments, Justin's stay in the band was short-lived and with his departure saw the end of the Shibby days of the band. The remaining members began to build the band up again in the form of Eleven Eleven with the inclusion of Sam Parker as an additional guitarist to add some diversity to the band and allow them to progress in a more rockier direction.
As a 3-piece the band began writing new material and were set to head into the studio but were without a bassist. It was around this time in the summer of 2008 that Matt Verrell decided to re-join the band. Though slow at first, the new look 4 piece band began writing new material and testing it out at a few intimate gigs. It wasn't until March 2009 that the band really began to put themselves back on the map as they became winners of the first ever Kent TV and Invicta FM Soundclash battle of the bands competition, beating over 80 acts to win the public vote and win a cash prize as well as a professional music video for the track Falling.
Since then a few new tracks have surfaced, including Can't Forget, which is likely to appear on the as yet untitled full length album.
The band have been added to the line-up to the first ever Hevy music festival in Folkestone on the 1st August 2009, featuring acts such as; Feeder, Ash, Gary Newman, The Blackout, We are the Ocean and

Collectively as both Shibby and Eleven Eleven, the band have toured and played with the likes of Elliot Minor, , Enjoy Destroy, Exit Avenue, Koopa, Dear Superstar, Furthest Drive Home, You Me At Six, Zico Chain, Outl4w, Linchpin, Tonight Is Goodbye, UK Subs and Kobe.
