Eamonn Kelly is an Irish born disc jockey based in the UK, who can currently be heard on 106.6 Smooth Radio in the East Midlands. His broadcasting career started while he was still at school in Dublin on Kiss FM and Q102. He later moved to the UK and presented shows on a number of stations around the country (including Kent's Invicta FM, and Capital Gold) and Capital Radio London for thirteen years. He joined the Smooth Network in 2007, and after spending just over a year as weekday afternoon presenter at 106.6 Smooth Radio, replaced Gary Burton on the station's breakfast show in early 2009. He also presented a Friday evening show at sister station 102.2 Smooth Radio in London until off-peak networking from Manchester was introduced. Eamonn along with the rest of the local Smooth team will lose their work due to the national Smooth Radio launch taking place on 4th October. Eamonn will be covering on the Gold Radio network on Sunday 5th December. Eamonn is also due to cover on Gold on Sunday 12th December 2010. Eamonn will be the new presenter to take over Gold afternoons from 4th January 2011. Eamonn Kelly is also a professional photographer who shoots both pop concerts and fashion and glamour photography work. He is also currently writing a sitcom.
