Duncan Penn (born 1983, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada) is the creator, executive producer and cast member of MTV series The Buried Life . Duncan is co-author of the book “What Do You Want To Do Before You Die?” . The book became a #1 New York Times Best Seller shortly after it's release in April 2012. Education Duncan attended University of Victoria and later the John Molson School of Business, where he graduated with honors. After college he helped found a charity, OA Projects , which builds soccer programs for youth affected by war, and has made a positive impact on communities in Ecuador, Rwanda and Uganda. Duncan currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. Accomplishments In 2010 and 2011, Duncan along with the cast of The Buried Life earned a nomination for the Do Something TV Show Award from the VH1 Do Something Awards. The Buried Life received a nomination for its efforts to encourage people to pursue their life goals. Duncan was recorded by the Guiness World Records for the biggest roulette spin in Las Vegas history. He placed a bet of $250,000 on red and organized the biggest speed dating event in history with the University of South Florida. In July of 2011, Duncan and the rest of the cast helped make a $300,000 donation to The Keep America Beautiful foundation.
