Dave Lingwood

Dave Lingwood (born 1986, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada) is the creator, executive producer and cast member of MTV series The Buried Life. Dave is co-author of the book “What Do You Want To Do Before You Die?”. The book became a #1 New York Times Best Seller shortly after its release in April 2012.
About Dave
Dave is a competitive break-dancer with a lust for life and adventure. He also briefly pursued a degree in sociology at Concordia University in Montreal. He was briefly married in Las Vegas, NV, crossing #91 off his bucket list: Get Married in Vegas. The marriage was later annulled.
Dave currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
Accomplishments
In 2010 and 2011, Dave along with the cast of The Buried Life earned a nomination for the Do Something TV Show Award from the VH1 Do Something Awards. The Buried Life received a nomination for its efforts to encourage people to pursue their life goals.
Dave was recorded by the Guiness World Records for the biggest roulette spin in Las Vegas history. He placed a bet of $250,000 on red and helped organize the biggest speed dating event in history with the University of South Florida.
In July of 2011, Dave and the rest of the cast helped make a $300,000 donation to The Keep America Beautiful foundation.
