Demo Two

Demo Two is the second set of demo recordings by English punk / rock band Sounds of Swami. Shortly after the arrival of new guitarist / vocalist Luke Yates, the band wrote several new songs. The band booked one day at Voltage Studios, Bradford and recorded all instruments live. Vocals were overdubbed. The band were still finding their feet in terms of style and all songs were quickly dropped from the live set. S.I.T.A.R.S and Tension Seekers were included as bonus tracks on the Vent EP and receieved several positive comments in various reviews . The latter has been rewritten and rerecorded for the bands debut album scheduled for release in 2010.

Miscellanea
*Patient Twenty One was recorded during the session but left unfinished and unreleased. The song was soon dropped from the live set.
*A promo video for S.I.T.A.R.S was filmed and released on the internet. After the one day session, the band played a set at nearby rock venue Rio's. A small camera crew filmed the performance of the song and dubbed the studio recording over the footage. The video can be seen here
*The band attempted to re-record the three released songs for a planned mini album titled "Real to Reel" but were later abandoned and left unreleased.
*These demo versions of Tension Seekers and S.I.T.A.R.S were added as bonus tracks to the Vent EP.
