Debbie Clarke Singer

Debbie Clarke-Singer (born Debbie Clarke, 25 August 1983) is a singer from Monmouth in South Wales. She began singing from the age of nine and studied for seven years at Hereford Cathedral School. She studied music formally at the Royal Academy in London. In 2008 she recorded a series of acoustic tracks that were played on BBC Radio 2's Good Morning Sunday show with Aled Jones,including a playing on Christmas Day.It was on hearing these tracks that record producer Tony Visconti agreed to work with her. On 28 February 2010, Debbie appeared on BBC Radio 2's GMS 'Sunday Spotlight' where they featured 'Bird On A Wire' that was produced by Tony Visconti. Debbie Clarke-Singer the EP, produced by Tony Visconti, features two tracks written by Welsh singer Mary Hopkin and Paul Simon's "American Tune".
