Ryan Balton Ryan Balton is a journalist in the Tri-state area of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. He is the youngest candidate ever to pursue a spot on the Delaware Valley School District Board of Education. Balton also works in the television and film industry in the New York City area. Biography Raised in Milford, PA, Balton is currently pursuing a dual bachelors degree in Television, radio, film and Policy studies at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. Television and Film Balton is the general manager of CitrusTV, the student-run television station of Syracuse University. He also is the director and co-producer of the documentary film Controversy on the Delaware, which investigates the Tocks Island controversy. Balton is credited as a utility/Jimmy Jib assistant on productions including the 62nd Annual Tony Awards, ESPN College Football, Inside the NFL, National Geographic's Genographic Project and Rescue Me. Education Policy At age 19, Balton became the youngest person to ever seek a spot on the Delaware Valley School District Board of Education when a member of the school board resigned.
