Dawn Swain

Dawn Swain (born June 7, 1979) is a certified nurse practicing in Los Angeles, California. She is best known for her role as the Medical Expert on the G4TV reality series Human Wrecking Balls.
Personal life and career
Swain grew up in Gas City, Indiana, where she attended Mississinewa High School and graduated in 1997. Upon graduating from Mississinewa High School, she attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
Swain is a full time nurse in Los Angeles, but she used to work in Intensive Care Units in both Indiana and New York City.
Human Wrecking Balls
Swain was approached about participating in Human Wrecking Balls by the show's producer, Jason King. Swain stated in a 2008 interview with Ken Tuccio that the show was extremely difficult for King to describe, so he showed her a five-minute DVD of the Pumphrey brothers in competition. Swain claims that the DVD was enough to get her excited about participating in the show.
While Swain is primarily the Medical Expert on the program, she has participated in the "breaking" for one of the episodes; as in the episode titled "Movie Theater", she contributed by dismantling several of the theater seats. She has publicly stated that this is her favorite episode.
