Davide Cortina he is an Italian citizen and started to play football at the age of 8. Career He played as a midfielder for U12-U18 Junior League Bundesliga. He was nominated as a Best Player during the International Cup held in Florida,USA in 1995. Cortina shows his combative skills during the International Tournament for U19 Seleccion in Spain against Real Mallorca. During his youth career he was awarded as Team Player of the year 1998 in Düsseldorf. Beside playing football, he coaches kids together with DFB A-License Football Academies (Fussball-Schule Hattrick and Brazillian Soccer Academy). He attained his Deutsche Fussball Bund C-License (DFB). He continuously play football in Germany as a profession but stopped in the year 2005 when he started running his own Restaurant business in Sicily Italy until 2010. He and his Filipina fiance decided to settle down in the Philippines</ref> The club will play against Flame United FC in the knock-out stage. last August 2011. On September 2011, Cortina signed contract with Loyola Meralco Sparks F.C. He currently coaches at South Luzon International Football Centre together with Coach Roxy Dorlas, both owner of the academy.
