Andrew Konopelsky

Andrzej "Andrew" Konopelski (born August 17, 1987 in Ivyland, Pennsylvania) is an American soccer player currently playing for Jersey Express in the USL Premier Development League.
He also holds Polish citizenship.
Career
Club
Konopelski, who is of Polish descent, attended Council Rock North High School, and played two years of college soccer at Northeastern University, but left college early when he was offered a professional contract by Ekstraklasa club in 2006. He made his professional debut on March 6, 2007 as a late game substitute in a Ekstraklasa Cup match against , but never played a league game for the club.
He transferred to Polish First League club Odra Opole in the summer of 2008, and subsequently played in 8 games for the team during the 2008-09 season, before returning to the United States in late 2009.
Having been able to secure a professional contract elsewhere, Konopelsky signed to play with Newark Ironbound Express in the USL Premier Development League in 2010.
Coaching
In addition to his playing career, Konopelski is an assistant coach at Delaware Valley College.
