Danny Sixsmith (9.03.53) is an angling legend, especially within the North West of England. He is currently sponsored by Drennan International as an individual angler. Danny currently holds the fishing records on many venues in the North West of England examples include: Orrel Water Park (both lakes); Carr Mill Dam and numerous locations within St Helens, Merseyside and Wigan. He has succeeded in fishing competitions all over the United Kingdom, as a team player and in recent years as an indepenent angler. One of Danny's daughters was once informed that Danny is like the Ryan Giggs of the fishing world. Favourite Venues Danny's favourite venues are: Carr Mill Dam; St Helens Canal (known locally as the Hotties); and Orrel Water Park. Team Player Danny fished for the St Helens AA, becoming angler of the year on a number of occasions due to his success in fishing matches and tournaments. He has also captained many fishing teams under a number of sponsors Team Tubertini and Octoplus Saints to mention just two. See Also
