Totalitarian Football League

The Totalitarian Football League was invented by Danny Baker on 6-0-6 in 2009. It's aim is to cut the English and Scottish leagues into just 20 teams that represent something unique to the club in question and something generic to all clubs.
Danny Baker often refused to give clubs entry because they didn't have enough of a reason and sometimes because he didn't like them. e.g. Fulham because Bobby Robson said that "It was Racehorses versus Donkeys"

Aston Villa - hopeful wasp buzzing around better clubs
Bournemouth - nicknames, pitch rotation and endeavour
Bridgeport Italians - free kit & warm-ups
Celtic F.C. - for attendance records, local players & renting a graveyard
East Stirlingshire - tannoy announcements
Falkirk F.C. - stagnancy
Grimsby - coldest ground and seeing off opposition managers
Halesowen Town - representing the non league underdogs
Hartlepool - perseverance
Lincoln City - lack of luck
Manchester United - glamour, success and glory
Notts County - hope over common sense and being bores
Peterborough United- football dynasties
Preston North End - history and a name that promotes curiosity
Queens Park - introducing sexy football and owning Hampden Park
Raith Rovers - travel abroad and shipwrecks
Rangers F.C - living off glory days
Sheffield United - controversy
Swindon Town - For unwantedness & Fraser Digby's washbag
Tottenham Hotspur - paranoia and persecution complex
Upton Park (Boleyn Ground) was also placed into the league because of it's unique tackiness
