Mayfield Athletic FC

The Mayfield Athletic FC is an English football club whose players are the Majority taken from previous and existing attendees of Fortismere School, in Muswell Hill, London.

History
Founded 1925. Mayfield have had varied success over the years playing in the Southern Olympian League (1911) which subsequently become the Amateur Football Combination (AFC) in 2002.

Mayfield most recent success was winning the league with a record number of goals for the club and the most goals in the Amateur Football Combination Scoring 121 goals in 20 games.

Mayfield have 2 fully running sides at the moment playing in 3 North and 9 North. In past years Mayfield have had up to 7 teams running at once.

Kyle Powell holds the most goals scored in a single season with 39 goals in the season of 2007/08. Whilst only playing 21 games.

Mayfield have also set records in Amateur Football Combination with the most goals scored in a single season with 121 goals scored.

The 05/06 saw our captain Mehmet Ramiz reach the landmark 700th goal in a game against Old Minchendenians.
