Danny Loughmiller , born in South Central Idaho in the late-Seventies, is a Western-based filmmaker, writer, producer and director, well known as a prominent figure in the Neo-Mormon Cinema. Danny received his AA in Multimedia Communication Technology (Utah Valley University, 2004) and completed the Director’s program (Professional Development Academy, 2011). In addition to his feature film The Rohtang Pass (2011), Danny has also created short films screened in numerous film festivals and commercials airing regionally which has garnered him numerous awards, including the prestigious Video Production Gem Award and Best Cinematography 2011. Before his involvement in film, Danny worked in theatre as an actor and later as a producer. Notably, Danny has served on the board of the Junior Musical Playhouse Company (JuMP Co.) which is the same theatre company that gave actress Christina Hendricks her start. Prior to joining the Brothers Hicks, Danny worked for KMVT (CBS) Television, Marketing Resource Group, Midnight Productions and Cable ONE Advertising. Danny lives with his wife and children in Twin Falls, Idaho.
