Corriball

Corriball was invented in late 2007/ early 2008. The game was invented by two people (Marek Mycawka and James Gardner) they were both attending a 6th form in Wellingborough (Northampton, England)
The game consists of 2 players, a ball, and a short corridor.
There are 3 rounds and each round to win the round a player must gain 5 points if the player is not two points clear however then the round continues until one player is ahead by a difference of more than two points . (for example if one person got 4 and the other scored and got 5 that person would then need 6 to win the round (4-6) ).
The referee who stands anywhere were they wont get hit (in a door way or looking through a window) can deduct points if a player does not agree with the referees final decision and hand the ball back over to the player who is not arguing.

How the game works..
The basic aim of the game is like any other, to win by scoring points.
To decide who starts off with the ball a coin is flipped by the referee, after the first round it then alternates who gets the ball (player A wins the coin toss so gets it in round 1 and round 3, player b looses the coin toss and starts with the ball in round 2.)
Both players have an end of the corridor each, the back wall is like the net in football/soccer. When one person has the ball the other must defend their back wall with any part of their body. If they are successful and they hit the ball away, the ball is now theirs and it is their turn to try and hit the back wall of their opponents.

Point system

To gain points you must kick (from hands or off of the floor) the soft ball and hit the other persons wall (the ball can bounce off of walls and the opponents body) once the back wall is hit this is equal to 1 point.
There are 3 rounds and each round to win the round a player must gain 5 points if the player is not two points clear however then the round continues until one player is ahead by a difference of more than two points . (for example if one person got 4 and the other scored and got 5 that person would then need 6 to win the round (4-6) ).

Equipment
The two players do not need any special clothing, shoes can be worn or not (bare foot).
The ball is a small soft ball that is heavy enough to be hit with power, both players must agree the ball is okay to play with.
