Colocation America, is a private corporation that provides carrier-neutral colocation server hosting. Colocation America also offers dedicated server hosting, voice over IP , bandwidth and IP services and managed virtual private networks to enterprises of the small to medium sized variety.
Colocation America was founded in 2000 by Michael Trunkett, who is the current President and CEO.
Colocation America is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA with a corporate office in Las Vegas, NV and data centers operating in California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey and many more worldwide.
Company News
On May 18, 2010, Colocation America joined in the eco-friendly movement by outfitting their data centers with energy efficient power sources. Using these sources keeps production from exposing the air to excessive, harmful emissions. They also launched an initiative to reduce their carbon footprint by using email and other electronic communications instead of paper for all internal and client interactions.
On May 28, 2010, Colocation America announced search engine optimization web hosting plans. The plans are meant to launch companies’ listings to the sop of search engines, such as Google, and Bing.
On June 8, 2010, Colocation America announced its 22 cutting edge data centers in four states across the USA.
