Chuck Hadley

Charles "Chuck" Hadley (born May 17, 1956) is an American retired venture capitalist, and the Democratic nominee for the 165th Legislative District in Pennsylvania's House of Representatives.
Career
Prior to beginning his venture capital career, Hadley volunteered in Ghana with TechnoServe, a private non-profit organization dedicated to fighting poverty by teaching entrepreneurial farmers how to start and run small, rural agriculture-based businesses. He currently serves on Technoserve’s Global Advisory Counsel.
In 1988, Hadley co-founded Hillman Medical Ventures, an early stage medical technology fund, and led the firm's investments in device and diagnostics companies. Hadley then founded Rock Hill Ventures in 1997, where he founded a number of medical technology companies. In 2007, Hadley joined Cardinal Partners. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Bioconnect Systems. He retired from the firm in 2013, and now serves as a Venture Partner.
In 2014, Hadley served as senior advisor to Rob McCord's Pennsylvania Gubernatorial campaign.
Personal
Hadley attended The George Washington University. He obtained an M.B.A. from Stanford Business School, and a J.D. from Stanford Law School. Hadley lives in Wayne, Pennsylvania with his wife. They have three children.
