Choi Jun Rin

Choi Jun Rin, also known as Erina, is a young actress in Indonesia, and a model and backup singer in Malaysia. She was also a trainee under Korean Entertainment.
Modelling and music career
Born in 1991, Jun Rin started her modeling career at the age of 6 after she was chosen by a modeling agency at a shopping mall. A few years later, Jun Rin stopped her modeling career to concentrate on her studies in primary and secondary school. While in secondary school, Jun Rin went for an audition under AUR and she was selected to join in backup singer groups. Jun Rin has provided backup for many famous local artists in Malaysia. Jun Rin has also provided backup for international events such as the MTV Asia Awards in 2008.. Recently, Jun Rin has decided to stop her singing career, her last performance being a backup singer on the 23rd Juara Lagu Awards for artists Faizal Tahir and Stacy AF6.
Acting career
Jun Rin started her acting career in 2008. Her first film was Abandoned, which was published under SM Entertainment Indonesia. She acted together with her adopted brother who is a famous actor in Indonesia, Ryan D.
Management
On 2009, Jun Rin finished her contract with SM Entertainment (D) and joined JYP Entertainment to pursue her dream of becoming a solo singer in Asia. She was a trainee, but left due to emergency surgical of her dislocated leg. Jun Rin was advised to rest for 5 months before continuing her career under JYP Entertainment.
Controversy
At the age of 17, Jun Rin had caused a controversy in both Indonesia and Korea after she was rumored as a girlfriend of a Korean boyband singer, Lee Donghae. Her e-mail was attacked by thousand of fans and press in both countries. Jun Rin officially ended her relationship with the Korean singer early 2009. She is said to also have a close relationship with a member of a Japanese/Korean boyband.
