Carlo Kemp (born January 1, 1998) is an American football defensive end who is currently enrolled at the University of Michigan on a scholarship to play college football for the Michigan Wolverines team starting during the 2016 season. High school career Kemp, the nephew of John and Chuck Pagano, was a four-year letterman at Fairview High School, where he played running back, full back, tight end, offensive tackle, defensive end and outside linebacker. He was a second-team All-Conference selection as a freshman. As a sophomore, he was named to the All-State first-team. In his junior season, in which he registered 66 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, 8 sacks and 11 rushing touchdowns, he received again All-Conference and All-State honours. As a senior Kemp settled into the outside linebacker position, recording 81 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 4 sacks and one blocked field goal. He was again named to the All-Conference first-team and received first-team All-State honours. Recruiting Regarded as the best high school prospect out of the state of Colorado, Kemp received scholarship offers by Arizona State, Boise State, University of Colorado, Colorado State, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Kansas State, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, Washington, Washington State, Wisconsin and Wyoming. After official visits to Colorado, Michigan and Notre Dame, Kemp committed to play for the Michigan Wolverines on November 8, 2015. College career After graduating early with a 4.0 GPA, Kemp enrolled at the University of Michigan on January 11, 2016. On April 1, 2016, he played in the annual Michigan Spring Game, in which the Maize Team defeated the Blue Team 14-13.
